This is the short, plain-English version of how InboxTom handles your information — because you shouldn't need a law degree to understand what happens to your data. If anything here is unclear, email me at tom@inboxtom.com and I'll explain.
What we collect
- • Your email address, when you submit it through the domain checker form.
- • The domain you check and its SPF, DKIM, and DMARC results.
- • Standard analytics and server logs from our hosting provider, Cloudflare Pages (things like page views and general request data).
- • Anything you submit through an intake form, which we host with Tally.so.
How we use it
- • To email you your deliverability results and plain-English fix-it guide.
- • To send you occasional emails about email deliverability (the newsletter). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- • To tag subscribers based on their checker results, so the follow-up emails you get are actually relevant to what we found.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and send email. They only get the information they need to do their job. We never sell your data. These providers are:
- • Kit (ConvertKit) — email list management and sending.
- • Cloudflare — hosting and DNS queries.
- • Tally.so — form submissions.
- • DMARCeye.com — only for clients using Inbox Watch, our DMARC monitoring service.
What we don't do
- • We don't sell or rent your personal information — ever.
- • The checker only reads public DNS records. It doesn't touch your inbox, your account, or anything private.
- • We don't use third-party ad tracking.
Your choices
- • You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- • You can ask us to delete your data by emailing tom@inboxtom.com.
